Trumpet, piano (one note per hand only!), singing (in a choir only!)

Since I was 8.

When did you join The Wigston Band? June 2006

Favourite Pieces?
Paganini Variations, Grand March from Aida (and Happy Birthday to You – this means presents are coming!)

Biggest influence? Mum and Dad

Favourite musical moment?
At the Royal Albert Hall for the National Finals with Forresters Band, even though I wasn’t playing but on babysitting duty in the audience! First concert with Leicester Uni. Orchestra.

Worst musical moment?
Mum trying to give me a cornet lesson in the kitchen, aged 8.

Likes? Music that allows the back row cornets to play more than one note!
Chocolate. Holidays. Having a laugh with my mates.

Dislikes? Music that makes the back row cornets play one note over and over again! Spiders. Late draws for contests (waiting around all day!).
