Do you play any other instruments? Flugel Horn, Violin, piano(ish), Oboe - limited to last movement of Mozart Oboe concerto!

How long have you been playing? From age 14

When did you join The Wigston Band? June 2006

Favourite Pieces?
Beethoven 7, Dvorak New World Symphony, Tallis Variations, Le Preludes - Lizst

Biggest influence?
Arthur Rhodes - Maths teacher into Brass.

Favourite musical moment?
First solo ever played - song of India at school, Solo contest at Ashover, National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall.

Worst musical moment?
Standing up to play a solo and having the audience start singing the "Stripper" and shouting "get em off" (Working Mens Club near Doncaster - avoid at Sunday lunch times!), losing mouthpiece down blouse on the concert stage (end seat!) N.B not on the same occasion as the previous incident!

Likes? Children - I`ve got enough of them!, chocolate, wine, Isle of Wight, lamb chops, ghosts.

Dislikes? Being told off for nagging by other half, spiders, liver
